Acer P400 neoTouch on O2, Orange and Vodafone

The newest addition to Acer’s neoTouch line-up has now been released on 3 UK networks, the Acer P400 was first launched on O2 deals just last week but can now be connected to a range of Orange and Vodafone deals from free as well.

Acer neoTouch P400 deals start on Vodafone and Orange from just £15 line rental per month, to gain a free Acer P400 the best Orange deals are at £20 per month on Dolphin, Racoon and Canary 20 tariffs whilst on Vodafone the best deals are on 100+500+Internet, 300+Unlimited SMS and 100+500 on an 18 month contract.

This new Acer phone joins the Acer P300, Acer Stream and Acer Liquid E (in red, white and black colour schemes) which have all been launched at around the same time by the manufacturer.

The Acer neoTouch P400 is a relatively new release from Acer that offers impressive functionality and smart phone technology within an aesthetically appealing casing, which measures 115 mm x 59 mm wide whilst being 12 mm thick and weighing 125 g in weight. The unit utilises a Qualcomm 600 MHz processor and comes with Microsoft Windows mobile 6.5.3 professional.

The Acer P400 comes with a 3.2 inch TFT touch screen which offers excellent quality imagery by virtue of the 256,000 colours it is able to display within a pixel resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The unit also comes with a digital compass as well as an accelerometer sensor, which automatically rotates imagery to ensure the correct aspect is viewed.

Internet access is available through the unit, by virtue of the Wi Fi and HSDPA connections, whilst USB and Bluetooth connections are also provided. The unit comes with class 10 versions of EDGE and GPRS, as well as a microSD card slot.

As with many handsets currently available, the Acer neoTouch P400 comes with social networking integration as well as a range of Acer applications. For entertainment purposes the handset provides a stereo FM radio, which provides the means to access a wide range of radio broadcasts, a variety of games as well as an MP4/MP3 media player, which actively supports and plays a wide range of file formats.
