Nokia N8 Green – New Green N8 on Vodafone
One of the more popular colours of the new Nokia N8 has now been released on Vodafone deals, the Nokia N8 Green was first launched on O2 deals just last week but the number of tariffs available has now doubled thanks to a release on Vodafone deals.
Deals for the Green Nokia N8 on Vodafone start from only £25 per month, this includes a free N8 Green handset as well as 500MB of internet usage, 500 text messages and 100 minutes of calls to any network (including landlines) at any time.
The new Nokia N8 Green edition joins the recently launched black, blue, orange and silver colour variants, offering the exact same feature set this model simply swaps the exterior housing for a cool looking metallic green finish.

The Nokia N8 has a large AMOLED widescreen display with touch capabilities and an on-screen alphanumeric keypad and full keyboard for control and text input. It also has a 12 megapixel camera with dedicated camera keys to take you straight into being a director of your own HD movie.
The handset has both integrated GPS and Assisted GPS receivers along with Ovi Maps preloaded which offers free lifetime navigation to you for route planning and directions in car and when going by foot. It also has Wi-Fi positioning and a digital compass to make sure it always keeps you in the direction. The accelerometer sensor on the handset also allows you to turn the handset and navigate your way in either portrait or landscape view with the correct orientation onscreen.
The N8 has a large 3.5 inch AMOLED display in 16:9 (widescreen) ratio and nHD (640 by 360) resolution capable of rendering up to 16.7 million colours. The capacitive touch screen supports finger touches for text input and user interface control around the Symbian 3 for Nokia operating system, and text input is made easy with its full onscreen alphanumeric keyboard and keypad. Additionally, the handset features dedicated physical keys for the camera, volume and menu (along with power and lock keys respectively).
The touch interface allows you to seamlessly flick scroll through your albums in the music player to find the music you want to listen to with the Ovi Player with support for all major music file formats. You can download more music to the phone also through the Ovi Music Store, as well as stream music. Additionally, there is an integrated stereo FM radio for live music and news.
One of the greatest features which sets this handset apart form almost any other touch screen phone on the market has to be its powerful 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and using the full screen in widescreen mode as an easy-to-use viewfinder with simplistic touch parameters. There is also the support of an Xenon flash for poor lighting conditions and automatic red-eye removal among other image capture controls and software. The digital zoom is 2 times for still images and 3 times for videos which are captured in High Definition at 720 pixel resolution respectively. There are both preinstalled editors for photos and videos on the handset also.
