Samsung Monte Orange on Pay As You Go Deals
The new Samsung S5620 Monte has now been released in its Orange colour scheme on Pay As You Go deals, although called the Orange Samsung Monte the majority of the phone is finished black as the colour actually refers to the sides of the phone which are silver in the original black edition.
The Orange edition of the Samsung Monte is still a network exclusive phone for Vodafone but this latest release on Pay As You Go means that those who do not like the commitment of contract deals or who cannot get past the network credit checks can now gets their hands on this vibrant edition of the phone.
This new model has also now been joined by the Samsung Monte Pink edition offering all of the touch screen technology and social networking features to those gadget loving ladies, the pink model is also a Vodafone exclusive handset until the limited time period ends so that other networks can offer the phone.

The Samsung S5620 Monte offers a wealth of features that is encased within a sophisticated and stylish casing which is compact in nature at only 108 mm x 53 mm wide whilst being 12 mm thick and 92 g in weight.
The handset offers the ability to utilise either vibration or ring alert options as well as the option to use MP3 files as additional ringtones. The handset provides hands free communication by virtue of its speakerphone whilst also including the option of personal listening by virtue of its 3.5 mm audio jack. The phone comes with a comprehensive phone book that has the ability to retain 1000 entries as well as providing the photo call feature. The handset comes with an effective call record function as standard.
The phones display screen is a 3.0 inch TFT touch screen that offers 256,000 colours and their variants, providing faithful colour reproduction. The handset also includes a useful accelerometer sensor to automate image orientation whilst also providing a useful turn to mute feature and smart unlock functionality. The unit utilises a TouchWiz interface as its primary means of navigation, which is effective.
The Samsung Monte offers the ability to take effective imagery by virtue of its 3.15 megapixel camera that comes with smile detection as well as geo-tagging. The camera also provides the means to capture video and records at QVGA quality and at 15 frames per second. A secondary camera is also offered which is able to record video at CIF quality.
The handset comes with an internal memory of 200 MB whilst also offering the opportunity to expand memory by virtue of the existing microSD card slot. The use of additional cards as well as the aforementioned slot provides the means to expand the memory up to 16 GB. The handset offers a variety of connectivity options which include GPRS and EDGE, both of which are class 10 in combination with micro-USB and blue tooth connections. The handsets HSPDA and Wi Fi connections, offer the means to access the web at speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, for fast and effective browser.
The handset provides a stereo FM radio with RDS as well as an MP4/MP3 player and several games. Satellite navigation is provided by the integrated GPS function which also comes with A-GPS support.
