The new Vivaz Pro from Sony Ericsson has today been made available as an unlocked and SIM Free handset, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro takes the best features from the original Vivaz model and incorporates a further slide out qwerty keyboard for those that like to text quickly as well as compose longer emails more effectively.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro was first launched as a network exclusive on O2 deals just yesterday but this new release as a SIM Free phone means you can use the Vivaz Pro on any network you choose. The phone is unlocked to all providers and you can either buy a SIM Only SIM card deal or use an existing card to transfer your contacts and mobile number to your new Sony Ericsson phone.
This new Vivaz Pro black edition has also been joined by the stunning new Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro white edition offering a great alternative for those that are not keen on an all black phone.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro adds a slide out QWERTY keyboard to the stylish Vivaz range. A 5.0 mega pixels camera with an LED flash, autofocus and geo-tagging still is slightly less than the previous model offers but the phone still supports HD video recording. What stands out for the Vivaz Pro is the 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen which has a scratch resistant coasting and a 16:9 aspect and 360×640 pixel resolution. The Vivaz Pro also supports handwriting recognition and a built in accelerometer.
This latest Sony Ericsson phone offers an 8GB memory card in the box as well as Exchange support via ActiveSync too.
The Vivaz Pro comes with integrated Facebook, Twitter and YouTube applications and fast internet connection thanks to HSDPA. There is also GPS with G-Maps and WisePilot for turn-by-turn satellite navigation. Other features include an FM radio, a very good media player, up to 16GB memory and 3D gaming.
