Samsung Champ is Samsung’s Latest Budget Phone
Following on from the success of the Samsung Genio range and the recently released Samsung S3370 the manufacturer has now announced an even cheaper touch screen phone to delve deeper in to the budget phones market.
The new Samsung Champ which is also known by its model number as the Samsung C3300 is set to be the most affordable touch screen phone and still manages to pack in those essential features, on the front is a 2.4 inch QVGA touch screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels running Samsung’s own TouchWiz Lite user interface offering multiple customizable home screen.

The Samsung Champ also offers a 1.3 mega pixel camera for happy snapping, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack for using standard headphones and an expandable memory up to 8GB for storing all of your favourite music tracks to play back on the multimedia player. There is even access to the Samsung App. Store where you can download new Java based applications to further personalise the phone.
Sporting a 2.4 inch touch screen as opposed to the 2.8 inch of the Samsung Genio Touch means that the overall dimensions of this new phone are even smaller as well, this is an extremely compact, pocket friendly device for those on a tight budget wanting a touch screen phone. As with the Genio range the new Samsung Champ is set to be released in a number of different colour schemes including pink,l white, black and brown amongst others.
No word on a confirmed release date for the Samsung Champ yet but mid June is the rumoured launch time – we’ll update you as soon as we hear!
