LG GD880 Mini Release Date & Price – New Mini LG Phone

One of the most minimalist designed phones from LG has now been issued a SIM Free price and release date, the new LG GD880 Mini is not only a great design but also the most compact handset on the market to offer a 3.2 inch touch screen display.

Using similar design features to the LG GD510 Pop the new GD880 Mini has an extremely small bezel around the screen and no external buttons, on the reverse there is nothing but the lens of a 5.0 mega pixel camera and the sides and top of the phone are finished in an attractive brushed steel effect.

This new LG mini phone is one of many new ‘mini’ phones to hit the market, it seems many of the manufacturers seem to think this is the way forward with Nokia starting the ball rolling with their Nokia N97 mini, Sony Ericsson followed with their Xperia X10 Mini and Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro phones and more recently HTC launched their new HTC HD Mini with all model generating plenty of interest.

The LG GD880 Mini is due for release as a SIM Free and unlocked handset from April 29th with an initial price tag of £319.99.

The LG GD880 Mini is the world’s smallest phone to feature a full 3.2 inch touchscreen display. Incredibly compact at just 11mm thick and 92g, the GD880 manages to pack in an impressive 5.0 Megapixel camera with autofocus and face detection. Browse the web at speed on your LG Mini thanks to built in HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and the dedicated web browser, find your way using the phones built in GPS receiver and carry all your music with you with the built in MP3 player and expandable memory.
