Samsung Wave S8500 Release Date and Price

The first Samsung phone to feature the new Bada operating system has now been given a release date, the Samsung Wave S8500 has also received an initial price as a SIM Free and unlocked phone.

Not only does the new Samsung Wave offer the new OS but also the latest TouchWiz 3 user interface as well as the much hyped super AMOLED display which claims to not only be highly visable in bright sunlight with deep blacks but uses a curved screen for no reflections.

The Samsung S8500 Wave will be available SIM Free from May 14th, at point of release you can expect to pay £339.99 for this high specification handset, there are no confirmed release dates for the new Samsung Wave on any of the network operators as yet.

    Thank you for the superior article, so I’ve been a samsung consumer for about five years now, and I lately upgraded from a samsung omnia i910 to the Samsung Wave and thus far I am loving it! (I do leave out a few features of my omnia though) I’m from Halifax Nova Scotia in Canada, I used to be originaly going to wait it out for the galaxy s to arrive at the bell network however determined to buy the wave instead and retailer myself $400.
