The new Nokia E72 Silver edition has today been made available as an unlocked and SIM Free phone, joining the original black Nokia E72 this new silver version simply swaps the exterior colouring for a new sleek silver finish which is also referred to as the Metal Grey E72.
As a SIM Free phone the silver Nokia E72 is open to all networks, you can simply use your own Pay As You Go or Contract SIM card regardless of which network you are currently with in your new Nokia phone, the E72 is one of very few Nokia phones to feature a front-facing Qwerty keypad not unlike the design of many Blackberry phones, this allows for quick text input for instant messaging, emailing and texting.

The Nokia E72 extends the functionality of its forerunner with a 5 megapixel camera, HSUPA (up to 2Mbps) and faster HSDPA (Up to 10Mbps). The UMTS support has upgraded and now the E72 will come with two tri-band versions (850/1900/2100 Mhz and 900/1900/2100 Mhz). The best part is that the Nokia E72 has managed to maintain the slim 10mm waistline of its predecessor, even though the extra features have been added.
