The first of two new Samsung phones named the Omnia Pro has now been launched as a SIM Free phone, the Samsung B7330 OmniaPRO is to be followed shortly by the Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro and offers a front facing Blackberry style Qwerty keyboard rather than the slide-out keyboard of the latter model.

The Samsung OmniaPRO is initially available as a SIM Free and unlocked handset, this allows you to buy the Samsung B7330 without a network agreement and use your own SIM card either on contract or pay as you go.

Samsung B7330 Omnia Pro

With a built in QWERTY keyboard, the Samsung Omnia Pro is perfect for emailing and instant messaging. The B7330 Omnia Pro runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 giving you access to a wide range of downloadable apps and lets users open and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. The Omnia Pro includes HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity letting you access online content using Internet Explorer. Also included is a built in GPS receiver for Navigation applications, 3.2 Megapixel camera with face and smile detection and a memory card slot to store all your photos.

The Samsung Omnia Pro runs on Windows Mobile 6.5, the latest version of Microsoft’s smart phone operating system. With the new upgrade, Windows Mobile is given a new user friendly interface that lets users access all their favourite content from the homescreen. Windows Mobile includes Pocket Office which lets users open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, can run multiple applications at once and can download and install new apps from Windows Marketplace to further enhance the user experience.
