Sony’s New Gaming Phone Released: Sony Ericsson Yari on O2
Sony Ericsson have today launched their latest gaming focused Yari mobile phone, this strangely name new phone takes mobile gaming a step further with gesture control similar to that of the Nintendo Wii. The Sony Ericsson Yari has been initially released on O2 deals with further network launches expected over the coming days including an Orange debut.
Get ready to throw yourself and your new Sony Yari around playing games like Fifa10, Loco Roco and Guiter Rock Tour, this latest Sony Ericsson phone can be used like you would your Nintendo Wii controller to spar with boxing opponents and serve up perfect aces playing tennis.

Aside from its unique gaming options, the Sony Ericsson Yari also packs a punch in terms of features, there’s a 5.0 mega pixel camera with photo-light and autofocus, HSDPA for fast download speeds, web browser, nultimedia player, fm radio, stereo Bluetooth and an expandable memory up to 16GB.
For keeping up to date with your friends there is built-in applications for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube plus geo-tagging for pin pointing your photos and Google Maps for turn by turn navigation. The music player adds a further function that will match its music selection to your mood or desired tempo choosing from your downloaded songs and you can control the volume, skip and shuffle tracks simply by shaking your phone. Using the Sony Ericsson Yari’s stereo speakers you can share your music with friends or plug in your Bluetooth headphones for a stereo experience.
