The new gem-like Jalou from Sony Ericsson has now been released in a new colour variant, the Deep Amethyst edition Jalou can now be bought on pay as you go deals with no line rental charges or long term commitment.

The Sony Ericsson Jalou Amethyst edition on pay as you go has the same specifications as the original black edition but changes the exterior colouring of this female focused phone to a deep blue finish, available now as a prepay phone the Sony Jalou looks set to win the hearts of many women over the Christmas period.

Resembling a ‘facet cut jewel’ the Jalou is an extremely compact and lightweight Sony Ericsson phone, weighing just 84g and measuring a mere 73 x 45 x 18mm this female friendly handset will slip easily into a pocket or small handbag.

Features include a 3.2 mega pixel camera, 3G support, web browser, email client, expandable memory, multimedia player, FM radio and stereo Bluetooth, the Sony Ericsson Jalou also offers a zodiac application for horoscopes and a useful step counter.

Further models of the new Jalou phone to be released include a blue version and a special edition Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce and Gabbana model which is finished in a rose pink with gold accents.
