Revised Release Date for Nokia X6 SIM Free
The release date for the next generation of Nokia music phone has been put back slightly, the SIM Free Nokia X6 is one of the first phone from the manufacturers new X-Range which is taking over from the previous XpressMusic series (less of a mouthful!), we reported earlier that the X6 was to be released on November 12th as a SIM Free phone but this has been postponed.
The Nokia X6 SIM free will now be available from December 12th as a network unlocked mobile phone, the initial retail price for this latest Nokia touch screen music will be £439.99 although this is subject to change, regarded as an upgrade to the previous Nokia 5800 model this price does look a bit steep.

Key features include a 3.2 inch touch screen which is the same screen found in the new Nokia N97 Mini, a 5.0 mega pixel camera with dual LED flash, autofocus and Carl Zeiss lens with video recording support at a good 30 frames per second, video and photo editing plus a comprehensive multimedia player with TV Out, stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Connectivity options offered by the Nokia X6 include 3G, HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth and WiFi, other notable features include a web browser with flash support, access to the Ovi store for downloading new applications, an email client with support for Microsoft Exchange and a substantial 32GB of on-board memory for saving those music files, videos and pictures.
