A third colour of the popular social networking B3310 Samsung phone has now been released, although called the Samsung B3310 Green this latest model looks closer to a aquamarine blue.

Launched initially as a SIM Free phone the green Samsung B3310 is unlocked to all networks so you can use your existing SIM card and retain your number.

The odd design of the Samsung B3310 holds a secret, on first inspection you might wonder why the number keys are in a column down one side of the phone, this is revealed when you slide open the Qwerty keyboard and those buttons become the top row of numbers rather like a standard keyboard layout.

Features include a 2.0 mega pixel camera with video support, a multimedia player and FM radio and most importantly support for social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

The Samsung B3310 green is a surprisingly compact phone considering the extra bulk when adding a Qwerty keyboard, its main competition comes from the LG GW520 which is an upgraded version of the LG KS360 although Samsung themselves have now brought out another social network focused handset with a touch screen called the Samsung Genio Touch, this is to be joined by the Samsung Genio Pro which adds in the Qwerty keyboard.

Nokia have also recently released a new mid-range Qwerty keyboard phone called the Nokia 6760, although a little more expensive it also offers similar features for social networking.
