A new white edition of the extremely popular 9000 Bold Blackberry phone has today been released on O2 pay monthly deals, this new white Blackberry phone takes the features, design and technology of the original Blackberry Bold phone and encases it within a new white housing.

We’ve been watching the popularity soar of the recently released White Blackberry Curve 8520 so this latest makeover for the Bold edition can only increase sales for the manufacturer RIM, initially launched on O2 deals you can pick up this latest handset from free with a pay monthly deal that will only cost you £25 per month, with this you are entitled to 400 minutes and 500 text to use every month.

As we mentioned the features have not been changed in this new colour variant, this means that those all important connectivity options are available including 3G, WiFi, HSDPA for high speed data, stereo Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE. Also included is GPS which can be coupled with a satellite navigation application for turn by turn directions, there’s also an internal memory of 1GB which can be expanded using MicroSd cards up to a substantial 16GB.

On the back of the white Blackberry Bold is a 2.0 mega pixel camera with video support and a flash which is obviously not industry leading but this is an email and connectivity focused phone – uploading those pictures will take no time at all.

This latest Blackberry release also features a web browser, document viewer and editor, a good multimedia player with a graphic equalizer and runs on the Blackberry OS 4.0 with support for many new applications that can be downloaded from the app store.

Resembling more of a Curve design, the Blackberry Bold white edition makes for a nice alternative to the greys and blacks that are currently available, measuring 114 x 66 x 13mm and weighing just 133g it is also surprisingly pocket friendly for such a feature packed device.
