At only 118 mm x 59 mm wide and 11 mm thick, the Samsung Omnia 2 is a compact and functional compact handset. The Omnia II weighs 129 grams which is surprising considering its small size. Samsung has however, packed the Omnia2 with every conceivable feature that is available and as such is able to offer multi tasking on the move.

A 5 mega pixel camera is an integral feature of the phone which operates at 2592 x 1944 pixels. To help in taking effective photos, the camera comes with auto focus, smile and face detection and a dual LED flash. This ensures, as much as feasibly possible, that images taken are of good quality. The increasingly popular geo-tagging feature is also available on the Samsung Omnia II. For those who prefer the medium of video, the phone provides the ability to record and playback video at 720 x 480 and at 30 frames per second. A secondary camera offers the video call feature.

The display screen on the Samsung Omnia2 is a 3.7 inch TFT display screen which displays 65,000 colours in a vivid and vibrant fashion.
