White Sony Aino SIM Free – Sony Ericsson Aino Deals
The white edition of the latest Sony Ericsson Aino has now joined the black version as a SIM free and unlocked handset, this new white Sony Aino replicates the same excellent features as the original Obsidian Black edition but houses it’s gaming and photographic technologies in a new pure white casing.
The white Aino looks even better when paired with its matching white desktop stand which holds the Sony Ericsson Aino sideways for watching movies and using as a bedside alarm. This is the first time that the white colour variant has been made available in the UK, there are network launches planned soon for this top of the range gaming phone as well as a pay as you go release.
Review:
The white Sony Ericsson Aino is the first touch screen device to feature compatibility with the Sony PS3, you can access you Playstation 3 content using RemotePlay directly from your handset to share streaming media and share with friends exactly what you get up to at home. Alongside its obvious gaming focus the Sony Aino Also packs in an advanced 8.1 mega pixel camera complete with autofocus and flash, a 3 inch touch screen, GPS, WiFi and HSDPA high speed data.
You don’t actually have to own a Playstation 3 to stream media from home as even PC owners can remotely connect to their home computer using Media Go and WiFi to access their content away from home. The Sony Aino also incorporates a comprehensive multimedia player and FM radio for music on the move as well as a matching white Bluetooth headset for listening to your favourite tracks hands-free.
Beneath the main touch screen lurks a slide out keypad, this is only the second mobile phone to hit the UK market that offers both forms of control, the first being the Samsung Tocco Ultra. The Sony Ericsson Aino also has an expandable memory for storing those photos, videos and music files with the help of MicroSD cards, you can also use the Aino for turn by turn satellite navigation thanks to its built-in GPS and Google Maps application.
Opinion:
The Sony Ericsson Aino is not only a great multimedia device but also a great lead into touch screen technology, for those that are dabbling with the idea of owning their first touch screen phone the Sony Aino has the added benefit of the slide-out keypad should you not want to use a touch screen for everything. With its high specification camera and wealth of connectivity options the Aino not only performs well but offers a great style statement, sitting in its included desktop stand in landscape mode makes this phone a great little multimedia player as well. If you are looking for an even more advanced camera phone with some extra features and functionality then opt for the more expensive Sony Ericsson Satio.
