The cheapest touch screen phone to be released by the Vodafone network has just gone on sale, the new Vodafone 541 is a branded version of the recently released Alcatel 708 (OT-708) and has been made available as a pay as you go phone at an unbelievable price.

The Vodafone 541 is also known as the VF541 and is officially the most affordable touch screen phone from the network to date, features include a camera with video support, web access and an FM Radio. You might think that a touch screen handset for under £40 might not offer the essential features you need but the Vodafone 541 also incorporates Bluetooth and GPRS and similar to the more expensive models you can even customise the menus to how you want them,

The camera is a 1.3 mega pixel capable of recording video clips which can then be shared via Bluetooth , email, SMS or uploaded to your favourite social networking site, the Vodafone 541 also features a built-in accelerometer which rotates the screen from portrait to landscape as you turn the phone, ideal for viewing web pages.

Further features include an MP3 player and an expandable memory to store all of those pictures, videos and music tracks.
