As affordable touch screen mobile phones go the new Samsung Genio Touch definitely takes the gold medal, the Genio is a slim and compact device which is available with a number of what Samsung are calling ‘Fashion Jackets’ (or Genio Colours if you’ve seen the TV ad) which you can use to change the colour of the back of the phone.
This is a social networkers dream phone with support for Facebook, Twitter and even YouTube for uploading and sharing your videos which you can capture on the phones 2.0 mega pixel camera. The main touch screen measures a good 2.8 inches displaying a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, running over the top is Samsung’s very own TouchWix user interface which has been especially ‘tweaked’ for the Samsung Genio Touch to give a new, fresh and funky appeal. The UI makes for easy phone navigation as well as giving the facility to populate the home screen with your favourite widgets for easy access.
This fashionable new phone also offers a good multimedia player, FM Radio, Bluetooth and an expandable memory for all of those music tracks, videos and photos. The feel of the curvy Samsung Genio is great and the large screen is ideal for viewing websites and keeping up to date with friends, one touch on the screen and you’re off to Facebook, Bebo and MySpace.

Funky, fresh and ready for fun. You’ll never leave the house without your Samsung Genio Touch, snap on a different coloured cover to match your mood and tread the streets whilst keeping tabs on your friends Facebook updates. Snap a picture and upload straight to your profile or Flickr to share with friends or sit back and listen to your favourite music tracks.
The Samsung Genio Touch will keep you ‘in the loop’ and entertained whenever you want to be, there are alternatives about but if you’re looking for a fresh new phone that will easily slip into your pocket or handbag the Genio has it covered.
