Nokia 5530 Illuvial Deals – Nokia 5530 Pink on O2
How long ago was it that Nokia released a pink phone for the ladies – too long! Well the wait is over and in our opinion they couldn’t have picked a better model than the Nokia 5530 which has been named the Nokia 5530 Illuvial.
The new pink Nokia 5530 takes the existing features of the original model and encases this exciting Nokia music phone in a silver housing with those sassy pink accents, released today on O2 deals you can buy the Nokia 5530 Illuvial from free at only £15 per month line rental which also gives you unlimited text messaging!
Review:
The Nokia 5530 is very similar to the 5800 music phone, it is the cheapest Nokia touch screen phone available on the market but packs a punch when it comes to features. This new pink colour variant of the Nokia 5530 offers easy access to social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace as well as a new option called ‘people carousel’ which allows you to flick through your top 20 contacts.
There’s a good multimedia player for watching videos and listening to your music as well as an FM Radio and that important 3.5mm jack for plugging in your own headphones rather than having to use the ones in the box, also in the box is a 4GB memory card for storing those favourite music tracks. It also has a 2.9 inch touchscreen with accelerometer, handwriting recognition and proximity sensor.
The Nokia 5530 Illuvial also supports Wi-Fi so you can surf the net and keep up to date with your friends Facebook updates simply by locating a hotspot, this pink edition Nokia phone also features Stereo Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
Opinion:
We are very happy to see this female orientated version of the Nokia 5530 on the market, after such a long wait for a new pink Nokia phone along comes one than looks extremely stylish with the silver casing against the pink accents but that also offers a touch screen and great music capabilities. If you don’t mind sacrificing the GPS, 3G and slightly larger screen of the Nokia 5800 for a very different looking (and sounding!) model then the Nokia 5530 Illuvial is an ideal phone for a funky lady on the move.

it does have a qwerty screen but only when you text. i bought this phone on contract and i love it!!!!!! the cameras good – flashs good – sounds good and its PINK!!!! i prefer the pink version to the black and red version as that one refers to a toy and this is sleek n stylish.

alongside it having a qwerty keyboard (if you turn the phone on its side), you also have the standard texting keyboard and the option of ‘handwriting’ these are all on a touchscreen format. This phone is fab and easy to use, and the battery lasts ages. I have had this phone 3 weeks now and only had to charge it once!!
