The new Samsung phone that seems to have everyone connected is now available without a network contract or pay as you go deal, the SIM Free Genio Touch S3650 which is also simply referred to as the Samsung Genio is unlocked so that you can use your own SIM card in this clever new touch screen phone.
This new launch means that the Samsung Genio can now be connected to 4 UK networks as well as on pay as you go, this leaves just T-Mobile which you can currently connect the yellow version of the Genio to but not yet this original white edition.

If social networking is your game then the new Samsung Genio could be the phone for you, stay connected with all of your Facebook friends by viewing their status updates in your contacts list as well as updating your own status and uploading videos via YouTube – the new Genio Touch is all about you and your friends.
This first edition of the Samsung Genio comes with the white back cover, this has now been joined by a new model, the Samsung Genio Touch Yellow which comes as standard with the yellow casing, Samsung are actually calling these rear fascias ‘Fashion Jackets’ and you can change the look of your phone to suit your outfit or mood by simply replacing the back cover.
The Samsung Genio Touch also offers a 2.0 mega pixel camera for snapping pictures of your mates and sharing via Bluetooth or uploading to your Facebook profile, the large 2.8 inch touch screen is really simple to use with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface being simplified for a smooth and simple experience.
Also on-board is a good multimedia player for listening to your music and viewing videos as well as an FM radio and that all important expandable memory so you can store all of those favourite photos, videos and music tracks.
Despite the amount of features and technology on offer with the Samsung Genio it is an amazing small and compact phone, many touch screen phones are big bulky handsets but the Genio measures 103 x 57 x 12mm and weighs only 93g so slipping this new funky Samsung phone in your pocket is no big deal.
Opinion:
The new Samsung Genio is a great phone for social networking and keeping up to date with your friends via email, a really compact and light handset that although gives you a good sized touch screen costs very little in comparison with other similar models.
