At last! The most advanced camera phone from Sony Ericsson has been released in the UK, you can now order the Sony Ericsson Satio with a whole host of O2 pay monthly tariffs and this high specification phone is available free at just £30.00 per month line rental.

This new Sony Ericsson model joins the recently released Sony Ericsson Aino from the manufacturers portfolio of touch screen handsets.

Further network launches are planned for the new Sony Ericsson Satio over the coming days with the next to Orange, formerly named the Sony Idou the new Satio embodies the very latest technology from the manufacturer alongside its amazing camera there’s also a large 3.5 inch 640 x 360 pixel touch screen display.

The 12.1 mega pixel camera features red-eye reduction, face detection, image stabilization, a Xenon flash, autofocus and geo-tagging with the Sony Ericsson Satio’s built-in A-GPS, as an S60 device there are loads of new applications as well as new functions built-in including auto-rotate of the screen, handwriting recognition, applications for YouTube and Facebook, multimedia player, a WebKit based web browser and email integration including Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

The Sony Ericsson Satio also offers a built-in FM Radio, Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, an 8GB memory card in the packaging, high speed HSDPA upload and download speeds, and TV out option.

There are two more colour variants of the Satio yet to make an appearance, this first model is the original black edition and the two further colour schemes are a red and a silver variant.
