One of the most anticipated gaming phones from Sony Ericsson has now been launched on Orange deals, the Sony Ericsson Aino is the first handset to be able to directly communicate with your Sony Playstation 3 for remote play whilst you are away from home. Connect via the internet to your Sony PS3 and play your favourite games on you Aino phone.

The Sony Ericsson Aino has been initially released on Orange tariffs and is already available from free at just £25 per month, the Sony Aino is not a network exclusive phone so expect further network launches over the coming days.

The compatibility between the Sony Aino and the Playstation also opens up more possibilities such as streaming TV and other saved content on your PS3, the phone can even be synchronized with a PC via WiFi using MediaGo.

Aside from these exciting gaming functions the Sony Ericsson Aino is also a feature packed high specification handset with an 8.1 mega pixel camera featuring autofocus and flash, a good sized 3 inch touch screen display, WiFi, GPS and high speed downloads via HSDPA. There is also a built-in media player, expandable memory via MicroSD cards (rather than the memory stick Duo usually associated with Sony Ericsson) and an FM Radio.

The Sony Ericsson Aino comes complete with its own desk stand which angles the Aino in such a way that it makes watching media a joy, there’s also a bundled Bluetooth headset which alongside the phone can both be charged on the desk stand.

This first Aino model to be released on Orange is actually the Obsidian Black edition, there is a further Luminous White version on its way soon.
