The newest Android phone is also the first for Samsung and has now been launched as a SIM Free and network unlocked handset, the Samsung Galaxy was initially made available on O2 and Orange in August but this is the first time that the new i7500 can be gained without a network tie.

Android is slowly penetrating the mobile phones market but is more closely associated with HTC phones like the HTC Hero and Magic models, this is Samsung’s first device to feature the Android OS and look to be a real winner. You could even say that the Galaxy closely resembles the HTC Magic but this new phone offers a better camera, slimmer design and other more advanced features.

The Samsung i7500 also uses Google Maps over GPS for easy navigation which even includes the fantastic street view on your screen!

WiFi is also included for internet connections as well as GPRS and EDGE, the Samsung Galaxy offers an 8GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB for storing all of those new apps, photos, videos and music tracks.

Weighing just 119g and offering dimensions of 115 x 56 x 12mm the Samsung Galaxy i7500 will fit comfortably in most pockets and handbags, if you enjoy the Samsung brand and do not want to change to HTC to experience the Android system then this is a great phone for you.
