A new member of the Nokia Classic range has today been released on O2, the 3720 joins the recently released 2700 Classic as this contemporary series continues to expand, this latest addition is another candy-bar format phone with a real difference – it’s the most rugged Nokia phone to date!

The Nokia 3720 Classic is IP54 certified for outdoor use, this means the 3720 is dust, splash and shock resistant, however unlike its rivals in the ‘tough phones’ sector like the Sonim XP3 and Samsung B2100 Extreme this latest Nokia phone looks far more like a regular handset and boasts a pretty good feature set to boot.

Boasting the Classic name this is the first ever phone in the Nokia series to be classed as a rugged handset, the design follows the Classic range with stainless steel side panels for robustness and a clever screw lock on the rear of the phone houses the battery making sure of a water-tight fit.

Unlike its competitors, the Nokia 3720 Classic is a far more refined handset, its doesn’t have the bulk of the Samsung or the extra rubberised parts of the Sonim, instead Nokia have opted to manufacturer this phone to appeal to those who want a good looking phone away from their outdoor adventures and workplaces.
