HTC Touch 2 Release Date & Price
The upgraded Touch PDA phone from HTC has now been given a confirmed release date as a SIM Free phone, the HTC Touch 2 was originally known as the Mega and is the first from the manufacturer to be ready for Windows Mobile 6.5 and features the new MyPhone online storage facility.
The HTC Touch 2 takes on a very similar appearance to the original Touch handset but features a more rounded finish to the lower half of the phone, the initial lauch price of this new HTC device will be £299.99 and the Touch2 will be available as an unlocked and SIM Free phone from October 12th 2009.

The new My Phone service is a great Microsoft product that allows you to store all of your contacts and files online, but best of all the HTC Touch 2 lets you do this without the need to sync with a PC. You also get access to Microsofts Marketplace, the software giants answer to the Apple iTunes store where you can download loads of new apps for your new Touch2 device.
The HTC Touch 2 is great for web browsing, the large 2.8″ TFT LCD touch screen displays pages in a familiar desktop style format and there is a very handy zoom feature located at the bottom of the main screen, also supporting Flash means that you can view and enjoy rich media and services such as You Tube.
Other features include a 3.2 mega pixel camera, multimedia player with 3.5mm jack, WiFi connectivity, GPS, HSDPA internet connectivity for fast download speeds, Bluetooth, 512MB ROM and 256 RAM, a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor and a slot for microSD cards.
