The wide-screen marvel that is the BL40 from LG has today been made available as a SIM Free LG phone in the UK, following the launch of this new Chocolate series phone on Orange and O2 pay monthly deals consumers can now buy this amazing looking device without signing up to a network.

The new LG BL40 Chocolate SIM Free phone is network unlocked which means the buyer can insert their own SIM card into their new LG phone and continue using their existing account and number, it also means that the BL40 can be bought as a present as well as a replacement phone for a lost or stolen handset.

For a start the BL40 has a massive 4-inch display that allows you to surf the web and watch videos both in widescreen and high-definition. the new LG Chocolate phone uses a 345 x 800 WVGA display which creates such an awesome picture. Colours are sharper and more striking than you’ll have ever seen before and with AMOLED yet to come to our tellies, owning the LG BL40 means you’ll be one of the first to experience it.

Checking out the latest news and gossip on the internet is eye-catching too because LG’s ultra-wide display shows a full webpage width without any horizontal scrolling. The BL40 touchscreen responds very well to even the clunkiest of fingers and you can split it down the middle so it shows two bits of content at once.
