Nokia 6730 – Quick Nokia 6730 Classic Review

Nokia has a tendency to incorporate numerous colour options within their ranges, in an attempt to cater for every consumer’s whims. With the Nokia 6730 from Nokia’s Classic range they have introduced a black version of this popular handset. The 6730 Classic is a compact unit, being only 112 mm x 46 mm in width. At only 12 mm thick, it is considered slim line as well.

The Nokia 6730 comes with a 3.15 mega pixel camera which operates at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. With auto focus included as a photo taking aid, the 6730 camera offers the ability to take excellent snapshots whilst on the move. Video recording and playback are available at VGA quality, which tends to be, as it is in this Nokia phone at 15 frames per second. This is a handy alternative to photos and lends itself to situations where a still image will simply not do the situation justice. A secondary camera offers the ability to make video calls to other suitably enabled mobile phones.

The Nokia 6730 Classic comes with a 2.2 inch TFT screen that is vibrant and colourful. The screen displays 16 million colours which means images are displayed in true life like colour and are vivid and with an unmistakeable clarity. The screens size is 240 x 320 pixels.

Connection options include the usual suspects such as GPRS, EDGE, Blue tooth and microUSB as well as a HSDPA connection which offers 3G ability. The 6730 comes with an internal memory of 48 MB which can by expanded up to 8 GB if required by using the available microSD slot built into the handset.

The Nokia 6730 offers the ability to play multiple formats of music and video which includes MP3, WMA, AAC as well as WMV, MP4 and 3GP. This affords its user the ability to listen or watch hours of downloaded media.
