The recently launched 6720 Classic edition mobile phone from Nokia has now been added to a second network operator, this latest Nokia phone was first made available as a SIM Free handset back in July but only recently offered on its first pay monthly network tariffs with O2, now the 6720 can be connected to a range of Orange packages from free with some very handy line rental discounts.

The Nokia 6720 Classic further expands Nokia’s Classic range of phones, the 6720 is the first from the manufacturer to feature a new curved design at the base of the handset which brings the microphone closer to the users mouth, coupled with Nokia’s noise cancellation technology the Nokia 6720 is said to produce one of the crispest audio experiences during communication.

The Nokia 6720 Classic is a Symbian S60 smartphone with GPS, a 5 megapixel camera and 3.5G support.

There’s another unusual feature with the Nokia 6720 Classic though – Nokia have aimed this handset at those people who like to make voice calls. Fancy that! The 6720 curves slightly to fit the speaker’s face better, and it also features automatic noise cancellation to help remove background noise. Nokia say that the 6720 is the first handset in their range to incorporate this sort of technology.

The display is 2.2 inches but the phone boasts two full days of longer standby and just under an hour more of GPS navigation. The 3.5 mm AV plug also accommodates TV-out and the handy microUSB port is here as well. The maximum supported microSD card capacity is 8 GB, 1 gig ships with the phone.

The 6720 supports N-Gage gaming, it comes with a web browser, email client and instant messaging support. New applications will be available from the Ovi Store.
