O2 Deals for Nokia 5530 XpressMusic – Latest Nokia Music Phone
The latest release from the Nokia XpressMusic range, the 5530 has now been launched on O2 pay monthly tariffs in the UK, initially launched on Vodafone and Pay As You Go deals earlier this month the Nokia 5530 now has double the number of packages to choose from.
This latest Xpress Music Nokia phone follows a very similar design concept to the best selling Nokia 5800, the 5530 incorporates the same touch screen technology and that all important WiFi support for fast internet connections and download speeds, however it demands a far lower price tag which should sit well in todays market.
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is aimed at the music loving social networkers which Nokia have accommodated with an MP3 player, 3.5 standard headphone jack and new social networking support for keeping up-to-date with friends, ther’s even a clever ‘friends carousel’ that lets you quickly flicks through your top 20 contacts.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a compact music phone with a touchscreen user interface. Featuring a quality stainless steel body, the 5530 uses a 2.9 inch touch screen running on the Symbian operating system. The 5530 lets you download applications, customise the phone and add your favourite contacts to the home screen with the new scrolling contacts bar. The 5530 XpressMusic also features a 3.15 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, an MP3 player, Bluetooth and a memory card slot.
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has a large bright TFT touch screen supporting up to 16M colours. Use your hands or a stylus, the 5530 even supports handwriting recognition and has an accelerometer for auto screen rotation!
The Nokia 5530 runs on the Symbian operating sytem letting you customise your phone to suit your needs. Downlad and install applications from the Nokia Ovi store, create shortcuts and new folders and keep your favourite contacts close with the new scrolling contacts bar on the home screen.
With Wi-Fi you can use your phone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet. This offers a cheap (sometimes free) method of connecting to the net to download emails, files, or check on your favourite website.

I’ve had this phone for over a year now and it’s a really great phone. Although I wish it could cut calls faster (sometimes I want to hang up asap and it lags so the person is still on the other end).
