A collaboration between a design house and a mobile phones manufacturer is nothing new, we’ve already seen the likes of the LG Prada, Ted Baker Needle and Samsung Armani grace the UK market, however Sony Ericsson look to have landed a great product partnership with D&G in their new model, the Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana edition.
Not only does this new flip phone hold the branding of the designer but goes one step further with 24 carat gold plating making this a very desirable mobile phone, quite obviously aimed at the female market the Sony Jalou D&G is finished in a sassy rose pink shade and comes complete with 3, yes 3! different coloured satin bags so the lady can match with her outfits.
23/10/09 – Sony Ericsson Jalou on Pay As You Go
The overall look of the Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana resembles a fine-cut stone and will be sold as a limited edition of the Sony Jalou for a limited time period, this is not a phone to lose in the wine bar toilets or the back of a cab, this is a beautifully finished designer handset to compliment a well dressed woman on the town.
The D&G version of the Sony Jalou will be presented in special Dolce & Gabbana packaging with a branded version of the headphones to droop around your neck, the Jalou offers a 2″ display screen which turns into a mirror with the touch of a button and so doubles as a compact for a quick check.
Other features of the Sony Ericsson Jalou include a 3.2 megapixel camera, video recorder, MP3 player, FM Radio, Internet Browser and a Step Counter for the weight conscious, add to this A-GPS and Google Maps, 3G with Video Calling, Bluetooth and Quad-Band support and this is not just another shallow designer phone, the Sony Jalou D&G also offers a big heart in the form of great features.
The standard model of the Sony Ericsson Jalou will also be available in Onyx Black, Deep Amethyst and Aquamarine Blue – again very female orientated colours for a compact and fashionable phone.
