Samsung’s new robust, dust and shock proof B2100 mobile phone known as the Solid Xtreme (extreme) has today been launched on Pay As You Go deals in the UK, afetr first being released back in April as a SIM Free phone and later on Orange and O2 pay monthly tariffs consumers can now buy the Samsung Solid Extreme (SGH B2100) without having to commit to a long term network agreement.
The Samsung B2100 Xtreme on pay as you go will appeal to those who are looking for a damage proof phone but may not want the hassle of passing network credit checks, the Samsung Solid Extreme is also ideal for those who prefer to simply buy ‘top-up’ vouchers rather than incur ongoing line rental charges.

The Samsung B2100 Solid Extreme is a rugged yet stylish handset ideal for all you off-road, adventure-types out there. The tough urethane case complies with the IP57 (Ingress Protection) standard and is rated to withstand blowing rain, dust, shock, salt fog, humidity, water, immersion, solar radiation, vibration, extreme temperature and can be submersed in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The phone also features an extremely loud external speaker and a noise cancellation feature which makes the phone ideal for use on construction sites or other noisy areas.
All this protection does not come at the expense of the usual phone features as the Samsung Solid Extreme also boasts a 1.3 MP camera with video recording, MP3 music player as well as an incandescent embedded flashlight.
