Incorporating the same Android OS contained in the HTC Magic, the HTC Hero places the emphasis around personalisation and ease of use – something that HTC have always excelled at – via Sense™ a widget based interface that allows the user to tailor the 3.2 inch TFT-LCD touch screen to best match their needs when accessing the multitude of communications channels on offer.

Your inbox is not just a list of emails, but a catalog of conversations, a collection of notes flagged as important, and a document library of all your emails with attachments. Your Album is not just the photos saved on your phone. It is also a gateway to online collections of you and your friends on Facebook or Flickr.
With Scenes, a new profile feature, HTC Hero becomes multiple phones in one. Create and switch between Scenes that reflect different moments in your life. Your pink Hero becomes a weekend phone that helps you relax with your choice of tunes, catch up with your favorite friends and capture some memories with HTC Footprints™. And when you go on a trip, your phone becomes your personal guide and gives you instant access to local time, weather and maps.

Android Operating System
Sense User Interface

5 Megapixel Digital Camera
Search just about anything, anywhere on your HTC Hero Pink. The dedicated Search button combs through tweets in Twitter™, locates people in your contact list, finds emails in your inbox, searches through appointments in the calendar and very nearly finds needles in haystacks.
Aesthetically HTC have once again come up trumps with the Hero, incorporating sleek, sophisticated contours the styling is second to none and lays testament to how HTC continue to pack so much specification in to such wonderfully designed, compact packages. Thanks for the great article, I’m very excited. I’ve had my telephone for just over a month now and am actually enjoying all the unfastened apps from the android market, with the ability to have the web and navigation at my fingertips all the time. The only lower than idea feature is the picture/video text messages, as they aren’t downloading properly.
