Samsung i8910 HD SIM Free, New i8910 HD Unlocked
The latest touch screen phone from Samsung has now been made available as a SIM Free handset in the UK, after launching on Orange pay monthly deals a couple of days ago consumers can now buy the Samsung i8910 HD without having to enter into a lengthy contract arrangement with the networks.
The Samsung i8910 HD was referred to as the Omnia HD throughout its manufacturer, however Samsung decided to negate the Omnia name in favour of simply the i8910 HD for its launch to stop any confusion with this new Samsung model being associated with the previous Omnia range. This latest model uses a completely different operating system and therefore bears little resemblence to the original i900 seires.
The SIM free Samsung i8910 HD is unlocked to all networks, this allows the consumer to insert their own SIM card into their i8910 HD regardless if they are on contract or pay as you go and continue using the mobile number and any saved contacts associated with that card.

The SIM free system of mobile phone ownership will appeal to many, especially in the current financial environment, firstly for those uncertain of their immediate career future the prospect of entering into a 12,18 or 24 month contract is a daunting one, secondly for those possibly experiencing credit problems there are no network credit checks when buying a SIM Free Samsung i8910 HD.

Unfortunately, it seems the retailer that launched the SIM free Samsung i8910 just yesterday has already gone out of stock, it was Pixmania that listed the phone.
Hopefully it will be back in stock next week.

saying that they are using sibian software why have they excluded voice dialing and can anyone tell me how do you lock and unlock the phone,the reason i ask this is that I have a pixon and to unlock an lock the phone you just touch the button on the side too sensitive slight touch when in your pocket and its unlocked.

there is a button on the side but it is not overly sensitive the button also eeds to be applied for a few seconds

I was enquiring how to purchase one of the Samsung i8910 HD phones. I am currently with Orange but dont want to stop with them. I would like to go on O2 or T Mobile are these networks going to be getting these phones? If not how do you purchase a sim free one?
