The slim s740 from HTC has now been launched on O2 pay monthly deals after its initial exclusive release on Orange back in December of last year, originally made available as a SIM Free phone in November 2008 this latest network addition means that there are now more tariffs to choose from when trying to match your usage requirements.

Underneath its black and angled exterior is a Qwerty keyboard which makes composing e-mails and entering large amounts of text a breeze. There is also a document viewer so you can work on and view Word and PowerPoint files while you are on the move.

This top notch handset is also home to a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and a secondary camera which is employed for video calling. HSDPA connectivity allows you browse the web quickly and easily and download files in a flash. Once obtained these can then be stored on the handset with 256MB of internal memory which can be boosted further by adding a microSD card.

Other features of the HTC S740 include Bluetooth and USB connectivity for easy syncing with other devices GPS and Google Maps for easy navigation and an FM radio to keep you entertained. 

Owners can expect talk time of up to 320 minutes on a single charge or up to 400 hours when the HTC S740 is in standby mode.
