Samsung Omnia HD Release Date Confirmed – Samsung i8910 Omnia HD
We have now learned a confirmed release date for the exciting new Omnia HD phone as a SIM Free handset unlocked to all networks, also known by its model number as the Samsung i8910 this new handset is not a direct upgrade to the previous Omnia range as it uses a different UI but does take on the name and the full touch screen experience.
The Samsung Omnia HD SIM Free mobile phone will be available in the UK as an unlocked handset from 25th May 2009 – That’s not far away! We’ll post as soon as the phone is released so subscribe to our email newsletter top left.

Quick Review of the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD:
Samsung got all praises last year as they launched their Tocco range and the popular Omnia i900. The phone was extremely successful and met the expectations of the users. With the overwhelming response of its Omnia i900 8GB and 16GB models, Samsung has now announced the enhanced version of the phone that is called Samsung i8910 Omnia HD. This phone can undoubtedly be called the big brother of Omnia i900. The phone will surely meet up with all your expectations in wide range of functions and features.
The first thing that comes into notice in a phone is its physical appearance. The Omnia HD is quite impressive in its looks and has the physical dimensions of 123 X 58 X 12.9 mm. The weight of the phone is 149g.
The phone boasts the widest OLED touch screen of 3.7 inches, and the screen has a resolution of 360 X 640 with 16 M colors that gives the vivid and bright images. The display also has the enhanced features like accelerometer and proximity sensor.

Is that true that Omnia HD will be released in the UK on April 25TH???? If its true, where do you get the source from?? I’ve checked the official website of samsung Omnia HD, and uk.samsungmobile, NONE of them mention anything about the release date. I hope it not Aprils’ fool joke, AND I don’t so because this website did not give a punky last sentence like APRILS’ FOOL.
