With ever increasing pressure to seperate between one’s personal life and work and for that matter even attempt to have a personal life, things are made that much more difficult when it comes to making personal calls. During working hours you can’t use your work phone for personal calls and outside of office hours you don’t want to use your personal mobile to make business calls so what happens, you end up with two mobile phones.
This is where Dual SIM functionality steps in and what a saving grace it is. But that’s not the only reason for having a Dual SIM phone to hand, with the option to mix and match price plans offering another excuse to seek out such a feature in your next mobile, popularity for such phones continues to grow.
The latest in a line of Dual SIM phones to be announced is the Samsung C5212 DuoS. Sporting a candy bar form factor design like many DuoS handsets before it, the C5212 probably wont be put up for any awards though especially when it comes to judging it on appearance but with a sturdy design and good quality list of features it can’t really go wrong.
Equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel camera and a 2.2 inch TFT display the Samsung C5212 is pretty basic but it does offer Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo support, microSD memory card expansion supporting up to 8GB and integrated stereo FM radio in addition to a built-in MP3 music player.
Offering quad band GSM connectivity the Samsung C5212 supports GPRS and EDGE data technology but that’s really about it. For a budget phone though the Samsung C5212 have more or less covered every basis considering that the key selling point for this phone is the dual-SIM functionality.
