One of the most popular touch screen phones of 2008 has now been launched on 3 Mobile network in the UK, the purple version of the 5.0 megapixel Viewty phone from LG can now be connected to a range of Three network tariffs.

The LG Viewty Purple phone was first released as an Orange network exclusive almost one year ago on March 25th, this purple colour variant mirrirs the same features, design and technology found in the rest of the KU990 Viewty range which now includes Black, Red and Silver editions, the only change is the exchanging of the outer casing colour for a striking purple finish.

The LG Viewty is also known as the u900 Viewty phone and was LG’s first to offer a 5.0 megapixel camera and full touch screen, when first released the phone demanded a high price tag but with the recent releases of the LG Renoir and LG Arena the Viewty has become a much more affordable mobile phone.
