A great new Samsung phone with a 5.0 megapixel camera has now been given an official release date by Vodafone in the UK, the network is expecting their first stocks of the new Samsung Eltz also known as the Samsung S7220 Ultra B on 27th March 2009!

This sleek new phone offers alonside its 5 mega pixel camera with Auto-Focus and dual LED flash a 2.4″ AMOLED display screen, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, MP3 Player, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, 3G (HSDPA), EDGE, and GPRS technologies.

Samsung Eltz S7220

Weighing in at just 90g and offering dimensions of 114 x 46.3 x 11.8mm the candy-bar format Samsung Eltz S7220 is a stylish little device which is feature rich but easy on the pocket.

The Samsung S7220 follows a similar exterior design to the recently announced Samsung Tocco Ultra with its red coloured accents on a graphite grey casing, this could be mistaken for the candy-bar equivilent of the S8300 but this new Eltz phone is not as feature rich nor does it offer the touch screen technology.

The samsung S7220 has now been released as the Samsung Lucido in the UK.
