Two new music phones from Samsung are the newly announced Samsung M7600 Beat DJ and this the Samsung M6710 Beat DISC. Both related the Samsung M7600 Beat DJ features a music mixer application with filters, scratching and effects whilst the Samsung M6710 Beat DISC is slighty less feature heavy and offers a more conventional design.
Both however include the famous Bang & Olufsen ICEpower amplifier, just like the Samsung U900 Soul, but whilst the Samsung M7600 may offer a slightly larger screen display the Samsung M6710 2.6 inch TFT screen uses the new TouchWiz User Interface and DiscUI music player.
3G enabled the Samsung M6710 includes support for HSDPA with speeds up to 7.2Mbps, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP stereo support and microUSB connectivity. Capable of supporting as much as 16GB of memory the Samsung M6710 Beat DISC is equipped with not only an advanced MP3 music player but FM radio and a 3.15 mega pixel camera that features QVGA video capture at 15fps.
The 2.6 inch screen display comes with a built-in accelerometer display for auto screen rotation when viewing images, documents, emails, text messages and web pages plus the guys at Samsung have seen sense to include a 3.5mm audio headset jack. The only downside to the Samsung Beat DISC is its lack of WiFi compatibility but this is a mid range handset afterall and a pretty well equipped one at that.
