Samsung’s flagship camera phone has now been given a third colour makeover in the UK, a new female focused pink edition of the Pixon phone has today been launched exclusively by Orange and looks set to be a very popular model.

The Samsung Pixon Pink on Orange is a direct clone of the existing T-Mobile silver edition and original graphite grey version but exchanges the colouring of the outer casing for a new sexy pink finish.

Initially launched as an Orange network exclusive the pink M8800 will be released by further network operators and retailers further down the line once this eclusive launch time period has ended, this can be anything from a couple of weeks through to a few months.

Pink Samsung Pixon

The Samsung Pixon Pink is a full touchscreen cameraphone with a built-in GPS receiver. The 8 megapixel autofocus camera can take photos with a resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. It can capture high resolution video at 30 frames per second and it has auto-panarama, image stalisation, smile detection and blink detection.

The pink Samsung Pixon also offers a secondary video call camera. This is a 3G phone with HSDPA support. It has a GPS receiver for geotagging photos but unfortunately there is no Wi-Fi. The 3.2 inch touchscreen uses Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, sensitivity is good and the screen provides haptic feedback.
