LG Cookie Silver Pay As You Go UK – LG KP501 / KP500 Silver
Joining the existing pink and black editions of the latest Cookie phone from LG is a new silver colour variant released today as a Pay As You Go phone in the UK, this new and affordable touch screen handset has already proved extremely popular this year so this latest silver edition is set to boost sales for the manufacturer even further.
The LG Cookie Silver Pay As You Go phone offers the very same features, design and technology of the others in the LG KP500 and KP501 range, it simply swaps the colour of the exterior casing for a new, sleek silver finish.

LG KP501 / KP500 Cookie Silver
The LG Cookie Silver (or KP501 / KP500) is a budget touchscreen phone. Unlike its big brother the LG Renoir, it does not have 3G or a high specification camera lens. This reduces its cost and makes the LG Cookie fantastic value for money. It’s more compact and easier to use than some of the more expensive touchscreen phones, yet it still has a large 3 inch display. Simply press the virtual buttons on screen using your finger.

Text can be entered by typing on the QWERTY keyboard which slides into view when needed. Or, with handwriting recognition, you can use the supplied stylus to write on the screen. The Silver LG Cookie has an accelerometer which means the screen automatically rotates depending on which way up the phone is. This is useful when viewing different photos in landscape and portrait mode. The accelerometer is also used to play some of the built-in games.
The camera has 3.2 megapixels and no autofocus. It’s still decent for a budget phone should be adequate for an average user. The Silver LG KP500 offers a good media player, a built-in FM radio and microSD card support up to 8GB.
