The KP500 / KP501 from LG better known as the Cookie phone has now been launched on Pay As You Go deals in the UK in its pink colour variant, this female focused version of the LG Cookie was first launched on O2, Orange and T-Mobile pay monthly contract deals a couple of weeks ago but it has not been available as a Pay As U Go phone up until now.
The LG Cookie Pink pay as you go phone will appeal to those people who do not enjoy the prospect of being locked into a 12 or 18 month contract term as well as those who may have a bad credit history as there are no credit checks when buying pay as you go mobile phones.
This also means that the pink LG Cookie can now be purchased as a gift for others and then registered with the network by the new owner.

Although touch-sensitive display is one of the most expensive components in a mobile phone, LG is trying to push the product price down, even further down than the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
The LG KP500, also known as the KP501 and Cookie, is a reasonably-priced alternative to high-end touchscreen phones. The LG KP500 pink has large 3-inch touch screen that can recognize handwriting when the included stylus is used for entering text.
The LG Cookie Pink has 3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, USB, microSD memory card slot, and it can run Java applications. Feature-wise, it is a pretty basic GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE 2G data connectivity.
In addition to the large 240×400 resolution touch screen, the most exciting thing with the LG KP500 is that it is also available in pink. It is always nice to find some other colors than silver or black in mobile phones. After all, we look at our phones maybe hundreds of times each day.
