A new designer handset has today been launched in the UK, after much anticipation LG have now released their new version of the Prada phone as a SIM Free device which is open to all networks.

The LG Prada 2 which is actually known as the LG KF900 Prada phone is a direct upgrade to the original KE850 but hides a new secret – a full slide out Qwerty keyboard! Consumers can now buy the new LG Prada without having to sign up to a lengthy contract deal or be tied to any networks, the customer simply pays for the phone outright and uses their existing SIM card to retain their saved contacts list, account details and most importantly their mobile number.

Although initially released as a SIM free mobile phone the LG Prada 2 II is expected to be launched on UK network pay monthly contract deals and on Pay As You Go in the very near future.

The LG Prada KF900 may well look incredibly similar to the first LG Prada phone but there is a big difference lurking beneath.

You see, as the Prada proved such a popular phone there seemed little point in changing the winning formula too much – so they didn’t !

All features & application are much improved though and the biggest difference between the two models is the inclusion of a full QWERTY keyboard that slides gracefully out from behind – Nice !

The full keyboard certainly gives the Prada 2 an extra dimension for the user. You now have the option therefore of using the full touchscreen for your main menu & navigation etc & then just slip out the kayboard when you want to type text messages etc – it really is a useful addition to have thats for sure.

The LG KF900 Prada also has a myriad of superb features including a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus & flash and a secondary videocall camera as it is now 3G enabled too for super fast downloading etc and it has Wi-Fi.

The large touchscreen gives instant access to the multimedia player and it has an FM radio too. Memory is expandable upto 8Gb so storage isn’t a problem for the Prada II.
