Hi, I’m thinking of buying this phone but I want to know if it beeps a reminder periodically when someone has left a message. I had one of the V versions and have gotten use to not checking, I like the reminder. Do you know if this one does too?
Thanks

Hi, yes it does, but not the loud high pitched beep usually on Motorola phones, its a double sound, although its audible. On all Moto phones you can turn this reminder beep on or off. Regarding the phone, the processor is good – as most Motos are – but the battery life in mine is dreadful! Am thinking of complaining at the )2 shop where I bought it because the standby time is very bad, about a day. However, good signal on 02 (where I am is bad for most networks in UK), bit stiff on the flat keypad for messaging but its compact. You can’t change the message tones – you just get five to choose from, although through the music player’s lists you can set your own ringtone. Bluetooth connection good. Hope this helps! I have a question for anybody too: how, on a Motorola, can you disable GPRS until needed (like on a Nokia)? I think the constant ‘online’ searching is draining my battery. Is it through network settings, changing it from Automatic to Manual? i daren’t change these until I know! Cheers.
