The new red edition of the LG KU990 otherwise known as the magnificent Viewty phone has now been released on O2 contract deals in the UK, after first launching as a Vodafone exclusive mobile phone the LG Viewty red has finally broken free and can be connected to O2 pay monthly tariffs.

The Red edition Viewty offers the same amazing features including the 5.0 megapixel camera as the rest of the colour variants in the range which now includes: Black, Purple and Silver versions.

The LG KU990 Viewty Red is a great-looking, touch-screen camera phone with some cool and powerful features.

The 5MP camera brings the KU990 in line with the highest resolution camera phones available at the time of release. It features both auto-focus and manual focus, and ISO 800 and SmartLight technology to produce quality photographs even in low lighting conditions. It also comes with an image stabiliser for steady stills, a video mode that records up to 120 FPS, and a secondary camera for video calling.

Due to the full touch-screen, the display is massive. Fantastic for viewing your photos and videos. It’s even big enough to write on; which you will want to do as the LG Viewty Red is also capable of handwriting recognition and comes with a stylus for doing just that. You will also use the stylus for surfing the web, which will be a dream on this large-screened, HSDPA enabled handset. There is also a feature to upload your videos directly to YouTube, which is cool. And of course, there’s an integrated email client.

The Red LG Viewty supports MicroSD memory cards to bolster the 100MB of built-in memory so you can store more photos, videos and music. MP3 and AAC are supported by the media player and the handset is also an RDS enabled FM radio. Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 are included as connectivity options.
