The new Omnia from Samsung has now been made available on T-Mobile in the UK, the 8GB edition of this new touchscreen phone was first launched on O2 and Orange before being picked up by Vodafone and then more recently released as a SIM Free handset.

Now the number of tariffs and packages for the Samsung Omnia has swelled to include the T-Mobile range of offers including their very popular Flext tariffs.

The Samsung Omnia is a PocketPC running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. It’s also a 3G phone with HSDPA, Wi-fi and a GPS receiver. It has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, face detection and even smile detection! And with GPS, photographs can be geotagged, this means the exact location of each photograph is saved with the date and time.

As a media device, the Samsung i900 Omnia is among the best. The 3.2 inch touchscreen display has a 16:9 widescreen aspect and thanks to a built-in accelerometer the screen automatically rotates when the phone is turned on its side.
