Apart from the impressive camera onboard, the Nokia N98 is a Symbian S70 3rd Edition that offers WiFi Capabilities and HSDPA 3G support for high speed internet connections plus Bluetooth Wireless with A2DP stereo support.
The integrated GPS satellite navigation system is great for getting you home and away from long traffic jams whilst the Music Player and Stereo FM Radio with RDS will happily keep you entertained and up to date with the latest breaking news.
Although there is a lot to be said for all the highly advanced features of the Nokia N98 there is one very interesting feature that worth being highlighted and that is the 3D Graphics Accelerator, ideal for gaming.
With all its capabilities one has to wonder what the memory capacity is of the Nokia N98? But with 8GB of internal memory and optional expansion, they’ve definitely not been stingy.
The Nokia N98 even boasts a French TNT digitial TV receiver which will no doubt appeal if you happen to find yourself somewhere within the french boarder.
But as with all N Series handsets, the Nokia N98 is of course a smartphone and as such carries essential business tools such as PIM including calendar, to do list and printing, plus a document viewerand integrated handsfree.

when is the release date, also are t-mobile going to accept this phone because they have told me the n95’s are the worst for complaints, screen freeze battery life etc, and that is why they have not supplied the n95 8gb. so this has got to be the state of the art phone now hopefully without the hick up’s! pls pls when is the realease date so want this phone …….

Lets realistically think about this. Nokia has not even released the n96 yet why would they jump three numbers and suddenly come up with a N98? It just does not make sense.

alright guys about my earlier post im not absolutely right nokia is releasing a touchscreen phone but it may not be the n98 its working name of the phone is “tube” its true!!! For proof go to http://www.cnet.com n search nokia tube.it will show up under blog posts. Now i can also say that the s70 edition is false it has been confirmed to be of the series 60.This phone will be nokia first real touchscrren phone where we will be using our fingers instead of a stylus. The Nokia N98 is NOT a mock up or a fake. It was relaesed in Australia 1 year ago with only 1000 units supllied to all Australian networks, Not each, that was the total for the nation. Due to massive supply demands in the United States. Nokia have postponed the second release until all demand can be met across the globe. Sounds like Nokia have got a winner on there hands with this one!

I have it confirmed to me from a Nokia Design Employee that this will be released in three stages september release for a few. “Usually Finland”. November Release for Most of Europe, Japan and America (Holiday Seasons) and the rest of the world First Quarter 2009.

A friend of a friend works in the design team at Nokia(tenuous i know) and she informs me that teh N98 (or at lease a similar name) will be relaeased soon and will closely resemble the photoshop image banded about the net, which for the eagle eyed amongst you is virtually the same as the phone Lucious Fox uses in the Dark Knight - see, it does exist!

This phone is not a fake it is real! if u have seen the dark night film Batman early on, a guy holds it, and it clearly states n98 and is this phone and it looks great probly the best of the n-series gonna be great!

Hey, calm down, calm down! lol Guys have a look at yourselves will ya. Its a phone, dont start touching yourselves over it ffs. Yes nice new phones with gadgets are exciting and yes I’d like one of these if indeed they are in production yet, which I doubt as the N96 has only just been released. And what is with this “I saw it in a film so it must be real!” stuff….jesus I saw a lightsabre and the Millenium Falcon in a film, doesn’t mean I have them in my back yard. Grow up guys! I am sure Nokia will be working on something like this and will release little snippets of info here and there to wet our appetites, but think about this…they have just released the N96 so will want to make as much money from that before realeasing another N series phone…However I do believe they WILL release something like this N98 thing ONCE they have raked all your hard earned cash into their corporation, they will have to as they are now getting left behind by the other touch screen phones already released (Omnia, Diamond etc) But it wont be yet…like I said they are there to make money and they will grab as much as they can from the N96 before they release another N phone. the best thing to do is to phone nokia themselves and find out from the horses mouth. i have got a N90 which the Manager of phones 4 U in Darlington UK told me that this phone did not exsist…. What a Ding he felt when i showed him it on the offical site. i have been following the Nokia N series phones and i like the look of the N94 which nokia have not said what they are doing with this phone so i can honestly say the N98 is not functional and is probably still on the drawing board. check out Discovery channel as Nokia are always on that channel.
Or and as for films Diehard 4 All the main characters use N90’s

the n98 will definitly be released in January 09 probably around 26th in Australia to mark Australia day. The n97, which is lesser quality than this phone being only 5mp but 20gb will be released about 18th December. I personally do not like the n97 because it is the worst design yet.
