There is no deffinate price yet but it has been rumored at $799.99 or £405 but this sounds to expensive so my guess is nearer £300 or $600. The latter is only estimates however.

I am desperately awaiting for N96 as i think this cell phone has got everything though its a bit expensive. The demand for N96 is surely going to be very high as soon as it is released in the market for sale by Nokia:))

Is it going to have a prefered network. You know like the n95 8gb was out on vodafone first then about 3 months later it was avaliable on all networks.

Latest update i have had from a few places, carphone warehouse and phones 4 u (not the best places to ask i know) they have said there has been a set back in the release and it could be as late as November now, dont know if this is true or not. But this happens with most anticipated phones nokia seems to release.

on another note also from other web sites is the battery life is supposed to be poo,( i dare say that could be cos using the appz on the phone drains battery) dunno why nokia dont install better battery and add a few quid too the price.

So does anyone know of an actual proposed release date (not just q3)? I really want to get my hands on it (genuine one) and my contact is up so I’m just holding out. I heard a while back that it was going to be the start of august (yeah, clearly!) and I’m really getting impatient now! I wouldn’t trust anyone claiming to sell genuine model they’re ALL fakes! There’s a load all over eBay and (now) forums. Yaseen, no offence, but how the hell could you think that the phones you’re trying to scam us with are the genuine when they haven’t been released anywhere in the world? Are you so exclusive that even nokia don’t know they’ve released the phone to you?! We aren’t stupid.
