MDA Touch Plus Launches on T-Mobile – Upgrade to MDA Touch

The new T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus has today been released on T-Mobile in the UK, this new model is an upgraded version of the MDA Touch with some new added technology.

The T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus is actually a rebranded HTC Touch Dual which will also be picked up by O2 as the XDA Star.

Gaining 3.5G HSDPA connectivity, the T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus is the successor of the MDA Touch and available on Orange and O2 as the HTC Touch Dual variant and on O2 Direct as the O2 XDA Star version.
Touch a button and a discreetly hidden ’16 key’ keyboard, with SureType text entry, elegantly slides from underneath the 2.6 inch touch screen, of which comes complete with handwriting recognition and stylus control.
Utilising TouchFlo technology, users can control 3D images, browse through emails, messages and music files by literally swiping their fingertip across the screen in the desired direction.
Running Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and offering Pocket Office for viewing and editing documents when out of the office, the T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus is powered by a 400Mhz Qualcomm processor.
Multimedia features include a 2 mega pixel camera, digital zoom and video capture & playback, a secondary front mounted camera dedicated to video calling and a Music Player that support both MP3 and AAC audio file formats.
Synchronise your device with your PC via a USB connection or transfer files and images via Bluetooth to a compatible device anywhere within a 10 metre radius.
Including Live HTC Home, emails, missed calls, messages, weather reports and more can be viewed at the touch of a button.
