Samsung M110 Solid on O2 Released – Samsung Solid

The tough little Samsung M110 Solid has today been released on O2 in the UK, the SGH M110 is also known simply as the Samsung Solid and is a direct competitor to the JCB Tough Phone.

Originally only available as a SIM Free handset the Samsung Solid now offers a range of tariffs to choose from and is available from Free at just £15 per month on O2.

It may not have the looks of some top of the range Samsung phones but if you are looking for a mobile that can handle anything that is thrown at it and still make a call at the end of the day, then the Samsung Solid could be your new best mate.

Splash free, smash free and scrath resistant!

Designed as the perfect companion for those in the construction business or manual labour workers, the Samsung SGH-M110, aka Samsung Solid, is a solid candybar that is both shock proof and water resistant.
Available in a choice of either Olive Green or the more traditional Black, the Samsung M110 Solid comes equipped with a VGA Camera and built-in FM functionality.
There’s enough space in the phonebook to store up to 500 contact details and bluetooth wireless and EDGE technology come as standard.
The screen is a decent 1.5inch 128 x 128 pixels displaying in 65k colours and the onboard features are easy to master and they include a calendar, reminder alert and currency convertor.
Other features included on the Samsung M110 are built-in handsfree, voice dial and voice memo functions, which are always a major plus.
Cheap, cheerful and very versatile, the Samsung M110 is solid and reliable.

Its a cool phone .. but couldn’t samsung of at least made it look a bit nicer? i’d buy it if it was more like the top range phones but was still splash free smash free and scratch free

Baught this as it is surposed to be resistant to rain dust etc. Went fishing this weekend only to find that the phone had been damaged due to the rain even though it was not taken out of my pocket. I have left it on radiator to dry but not looking good. Car keys and camera in same pocket damp, but otherwise unaffected. Features are poor and controls are clunky and irritating, you could forgive this if it was as rugged as its meant to be. If some effort went into testing and refining this phone it could be great, but at this time its not fit for sale in my opinion!
